Send Us a Qualified Lead and Earn $5,000!
The City of Cambridge established an Industrial Lead Program
in 2006 to involve citizens in attracting industrial
firms to Cambridge. Any adult who submits a written lead
that results in a qualified firm moving to Cambridge
Opportunity Industrial Park is eligible to receive a
$5,000 referral fee. There is no limit on the number
of referral fees awarded.
Lead Program Eligibility Guidelines
- The lead must be submitted in writing to Cambridge
Economic Development Director Tom Willett -- via e-mail,
through
this Web site, by US mail, or in person.
- The lead must bring a new industrial business
to the Cambridge Opportunity Industrial Park within three
years of your
submission.
- The lead must result in at least 10 new jobs
within the first six months.

The lead must be "new" -- not one that the
City's economic development staff are currently
pursuing.
- Cambridge City Council members, EDA members,
City employees and consultants may submit leads but are
not eligible to
receive the $5,000 referral fee. Neither are members
of their families.
- Leads on which a real estate brokerage commission
has been paid are not eligible to receive the $5,000
referral fee.
- The City Council will authorize the payment
of referral fee after the company has been in operation
in Cambridge
for six months and has maintained at least 10 jobs
during that period.
